Testversie kussen 'Cubic' / Trial version pillow 'Cubic'

Een tijd lang had ik dit kussen al in mijn hoofd. Vorige week had ik het patroon al getekend, maar helaas klopte het niet. Dit weekend heb ik weer opnieuw getekend en het kussen gemaakt.

Het is slechts een testversie van restjes stof die ik nog had liggen. Helemaal tevreden ben ik nog niet, maar het patroon klopt nu in elk geval. Waarschijnlijk wil ik nog wel eens zo'n kussen maken, maar dan van stevigere stoffen en andere kleuren. Ik hoop dat het kussen op die manier iets strakkere lijnen krijgt.

Wat vinden jullie van het kussen of tenminste het idee van het kussen? Ik ben erg benieuwd naar jullie mening.

Een nieuw jaar, een nieuw begin! / A new year, a new beginning

Hallo allemaal,

Zo, ik ben blij dat het vanaf komende week weer een redelijk normale week gaat worden. Hartstikke leuk die feestdagen, maar ik ben ook blij dat het weer voorbij is voor dit jaar. Langs deze weg wil ik jullie nog wel een mooi en gelukkig 2014 toewensen!

Ondertussen heb ik niet stil gezeten. Af en toe maakte ik al gehaakte kleden en poefen op bestelling. Om het gemakkelijker te maken om een kleed of poef te bestellen, heb ik een Etsy shop geopend. Daar kan iedereen informatie vinden over de prijzen en materialen. Uiteraard kan er via de Etsy shop of via het contactformulier van deze blog nog steeds contact met mij opgenomen worden voor speciale wensen.

Naast de kleden en poefen zullen er ook andere items in de shop verschijnen. Op Instagram waren ze al eerder te zien. Deze nieuwe kussens heb ik onlangs gemaakt en zijn nu te vinden in de Etsy shop. De prachtige stoffen heb ik gekocht bij Studio Saartje tijdens Flavourites Live 2013.

Wat vinden jullie van de kussens? Ik vind het leuk als jullie een berichtje achterlaten.

Daarnaast denk ik nog na over hoe ik dit blog leuker en interessanter kan maken. Ik heb wel wat ideeën, maar als jullie nog suggesties hebben, laat het dan gerust weten!

Grijs - neon kussen / Grey - neon cushion

Wat doe je met een bol Hoooked Zpagetti waarvan de draad zo dik is dat zelfs met haaknaald of breinaalden 15 mm niet verwerkt kan worden? Precies...je naait een kussen met de naaimachine.

Het kussen is nog mooier geworden dan ik verwacht had. Helemaal volgens de laatste kleurtrend lichtgrijs met subtiel neonkleuren.

Ik ga er nog een maken. Wat vinden jullie van het kussen?

This weekend I made a new cushion. I sewed some strings Hoooked Zpagetti (T-shirt yarn) on the fabric for the cushion. The strings of fabric were too thick to crochet or to knit with it.

It turned out more beautiful then expected. I love this color combination light grey with a touch of neon color. I'm going to make another one. What do you think about the cushion?
